Lacan missed the end of the WNBA season due to personal reasons and has since joined Basket Landes. Across 25 WNBA appearances, which included 15 starts, Lacan averaged 10.4 points, 3.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 26.6 minutes per contest.

Haley Peters

Peters had played double-digit minutes in two of her three appearances ahead of Wednesday's regular-season finale, but she didn't see as much playing time to close out the year. The 32-year-old regularly saw double-digit minutes for Connecticut early in the 2025 campaign, but she was an inconsistent part of the rotation down the stretch. Overall, she made 33 appearances (two starts) and averaged 2.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game. She's slated to become a restricted free agent during the offseason, and it seems possible that she'll have to seek out a new team.

Rayah Marshall

Marshall was selected by the Sun with the No. 25 overall pick in this year's draft, but she didn't have a consistent role in the team's rotation during her rookie season. She played exclusively off the bench in her 15 appearances and averaged 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.0 minutes per game. It wouldn't be surprising to see her have to compete for an Opening Night roster spot in 2026, and she seems unlikely to carve out a fantasy-relevant role.

Mamignan Toure

After being waived by the Valkyries ahead of the regular season, Toure landed a contract with the Sun in late July and ultimately remained with the team for the remainder of the year. She played exclusively off the bench and averaged 2.0 points, 0.5 assists, 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 steals in 8.2 minutes per game over her 18 appearances. While she saw double-digit minutes in four of her final six outings, it wouldn't be surprising to see her have to seek out other opportunities for the 2026 campaign.

Aaliyah Edwards

Edwards wasn't particularly efficient from the floor during Wednesday's regular-season finale, but she posted a season-high mark in steals while also tying her season-best mark in rebounds during the loss. Edwards showed promise as a rookie with the Mystics in 2024 but struggled to replicate that production this season, even after being traded from Washington to Connecticut in early August. Over 36 appearances between the two clubs, the 23-year-old averaged 5.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game. Edwards could see a slight increase in usage next year if some of the team's veterans sign elsewhere, but the Sun also have plenty of young talent, so Edwards will likely have to settle for a complementary role in 2026.

Saniya Rivers

Rivers had an encouraging rookie season after being selected by the Sun with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, and she ended the year with a flourish by posting back-to-back 16-point performances. Although the Sun struggled to rack up wins in 2025, Rivers established herself as a solid building block for the team, averaging 8.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks in 26.1 minutes per game. She appeared mainly off the bench over the final month of the regular season, but it wouldn't be surprising to see her back in the mix for a starting role in 2026 now that she has a full year of professional experience.

Lindsay Allen

Allen had a somewhat disappointing season overall in 2025, but she ended the year on a high note by hauling in a season-high eight rebounds during the loss to Atlanta. After making at least 20 starts per year in 2023 and 2024 with the Lynx and Sky, respectively, her role decreased in Connecticut during the 2025 campaign, as she started in just nine of her 31 appearances. She wasn't a reliable fantasy contributor, averaging 2.4 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game. The 30-year-old is slated to become an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, and it seems possible that she'll seek out other opportunities in 2026.

Tina Charles

Charles had scored in double figures in 12 consecutive appearances leading up to Wednesday's regular-season finale, but she saw a decrease in playing time against Atlanta as the Sun gave more minutes to some of their bench contributors. Despite Wednesday's performance, Charles was productive overall during her age-36 season, averaging 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 28.4 minutes per game over 43 appearances (42 starts). Following the matchup, she indicated that she hopes to return to the WNBA for the 2026 season, Terrika Foster-Brasby of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Marina Mabrey

Mabrey had an inconsistent finish to the regular season, but she ended on a high note with a team-best scoring total during Wednesday's loss to Atlanta. The 28-year-old's production remained steady during her first full season in Connecticut, as she averaged 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 31.5 minutes per game over 35 appearances. Mabrey will be an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, and even though she appeared to iron things out after requesting a trade ahead of the 2025 campaign, she may seek out other opportunities in 2026.

Aneesah Morrow

Morrow struggled to score Wednesday, but she delivered her second straight double-double. The 22-year-old has tallied double-digit rebounds in six of her last eight appearances and has four double-doubles to show for it. The rookie ends the regular season averaging 7.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa

Nelson-Ododa will miss the Sun's regular-season finale due to a back injury. She was a strong defensive presence when available for the Sun in 2025, finishing with averages of 8.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 0.7 steals in 21.6 minutes per game across 37 appearances this season. Haley Peters and Rayah Marshall are the most likely candidates to see a few extra minutes off the bench, and Aaliyah Edwards should also handle a larger role in the first unit.

The Sun don't have anything to play for, so it seems likely that Nelson-Ododa will be sidelined for a sixth straight contest. Her 2025 campaign will likely conclude with averages of 8.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
