Kayla McBride

McBride stepped up in a big way in the absence of Nepheesa Collier (ankle) despite the loss, putting up a game-high 31 points. The majority of her postseason career-high 31 points came in the second half, during which she made six three-point field goals. McBride concludes the Semifinals with averages of 21.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 39.0 minutes per contest across four games.

McBride was extremely effective from the field, including a team-best four successful makes from behind the three-point arc. McBride has scored at least 17 points in all four postseason games, averaging 19.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals.

McBride had success from beyond the arc Sunday, connecting on a game-high four three-pointers. McBride has played well during the postseason to this point, posting averages of 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.3 minutes per game in the first round against the Valkyries. McBride has scored at least 17 points in each of her last three outings.

McBride was pretty efficient from the field, misfiring just five times on 13 field-goal attempts, mostly from distance. She averaged just 6.5 points per game in the final four outings of the regular season, really struggling with her shot. She found it just in the nick of time, hitting 60.9 percent (14-23 FG) in the playoffs, while averaging 17.0 points per game.

McBride had a quiet end to what was a pretty solid season for the guard. Overall, she appeared in 39 contests with averages of 14.2 points, 3.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.3 minutes per game.
