The playoff push is here! As the 2026 WNBA season rolls through mid-August, every game carries more weight for teams fighting to secure their place in the postseason. Minnesota sits comfortably atop the standings, while New York, Dallas, and Washington are among the teams battling to hold onto their playoff positioning as the race tightens.

Let’s go over the WNBA odds for Friday and Saturday’s games and I’ll provide my best bets on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Friday, August 14

Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever (7:30 p.m. ET) — IND -8.5, O/U 186.5

Portland Fire at Seattle Storm (10:00 p.m. ET) — SEA -2.5, O/U 179.5

Best Bets

DAL +8.5 (-108)

Indiana’s offense has been on fire during the second half of the season, averaging 96.2 PPG while shooting 48.7% from the field and 39.4% from three. However, the Fever aren’t suffocating defensively, allowing opponents to score 90.4 points per game, resulting in plenty of shootouts.

That’s where Dallas can find its spots, exploiting Indiana’s defensive holes and forcing the offenses to compete head-to-head, especially with stars Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers leading the way. The latter is averaging 22.2 points over her last four games, while Arike Ogunbowale dropped 21 points in her last outing after multiple subpar performances. Dallas as a whole is averaging 89.0 PPG while sitting fifth in defensive rating. Plus, the Wings turn the ball over at the lowest rate in the league (14.7%), while the Fever struggle to keep possession (18.3%). I’m siding with the Wings to cover this one.

Dominique Malonga 21+ Points (-104)

Malonga has blossomed into an incredibly impactful two-way player whose minutes on the court are felt. Averaging 17.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, the 20-year-old continues to lead her team offensively while being a bright spot on a struggling Storm squad. Although Seattle has lost 11 of its last 12 contests, Malonga has scored 21+ points in five of those games while averaging 26.0 PPG over her last three. With the Fire owning the third-worst defensive rating in the league, I’m loving Malonga to reach 21+ points on Friday.

Saturday, August 15

New York Liberty at Connecticut Sun (1:00 p.m. ET) — NY -7.5, O/U 175.5

Los Angeles Sparks at Washington Mystics (7:30 p.m. ET) — WAS -5.5, O/U 173.5

Minnesota Lynx at Las Vegas (8:00 p.m. ET) — MIN -1.5, O/U 182.5

Best Bets

Kayla McBride 3+ Three Pointers Made (-155)

Marina Mabrey didn’t get much time to celebrate tying the all-time record for three-pointers made in a single game before McBride stole her thunder. On August 9, the Lynx veteran drained 10 threes, setting the record while dropping a ridiculous 43 points. While that outing surely gave her averages a nice boost, McBride is shooting 42.4% from deep and has hit 3+ threes in 19 games this season. The Aces allow opponents to shoot 35.3% from deep (11th), and I’m expecting McBride to take advantage of a weaker perimeter defense.

Kiki Irafen 25+ Points + Rebounds (-108)

Averaging 15.0 PPG and 9.2 RPG, the 22-year-old out of USC has been productive on both ends of the floor in her sophomore season while shooting an efficient 49.4% from the field. She’s also coming off another strong outing and has consistently shown the ability to contribute as both a scorer and rebounder, making this combo line appealing. Tonight, Iriafen draws a favorable matchup against a Sparks team allowing 93.6 points per game to opponents (14th) and 35.1 rebounds per game (13th). With Los Angeles struggling to slow teams down while also giving up opportunities on the glass, I like Iriafen’s chances of combining for 25+ points and rebounds tonight.
