Thomas has been fantastic throughout the postseason, and Sunday was no different, as she contributed a near triple-double. Although she had a great stat line, her effort was not enough to hold off a second-half comeback. Thomas recorded 16 of her 18 points in the first half of Sunday's contest, and her lack of production was mirrored by the rest of the team, who mustered just 22 points in the second half compared to Minnesota's 42.

Copper led the Mercury in scoring, but her effort was n't enough to combat a second-half comeback by the Lynx. Copper has scored in double figures in each of the team's four postseason games to this point, but she has been struggling from distance, making just four of her 17 three-point attempts over that span.

McBride had success from beyond the arc Sunday, connecting on a game-high four three-pointers. McBride has played well during the postseason to this point, posting averages of 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.3 minutes per game in the first round against the Valkyries. McBride has scored at least 17 points in each of her last three outings.

After an underwhelming first round offensively, Williams made a statement to kick off the semifinals, posting game-high marks in points and steals and leading the team in assists. Williams became one of five players in WNBA history to record at least 20 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals in a postseason game.

Young led the Aces in scoring Sunday, but her effort couldn't prevent a lopsided defeat. The 28-year-old averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals in the previous round against the Storm and has now reached double figures in scoring in 13 consecutive appearances.

Wilson was named the league's Most Valuable Player earlier in the day but struggled to find her shot in a double-digit defeat, shooting under 30 percent from the field. Even so, she posted her second double-double in four postseason appearances and the 12th across her last 20 outings.

Howard made her presence felt on the glass and at the free-throw line, delivering her first double-double since Aug. 12. The 34-year-old's performance was a timely boost as the Fever aim to extend their underdog playoff push.

Kelsey Mitchell

Mitchell poured in a game-high 36 points -- nearly double any other scorer -- to fuel the Fever's underdog playoff push. The star guard has stayed scorching hot in the postseason, averaging 23.3 points on 46.8 percent shooting and 44.4 percent from deep in the series win over the Dream, building off a regular season in which she posted 20.2 points per game on 45.6 percent shooting and 39.4 percent from three across 44 appearances.

The 29-year-old cemented her place in history as the first player to win four WNBA MVP awards, moving past Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie and Lauren Jackson, who each earned three. Wilson's stats weren't quite at the level of an otherworldly 2024 campaign, but her averages of 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.6 steals over 40 regular-season appearances were enough to secure a second consecutive MVP award. She was also named Co-Defensive Player of the Year alongside Alanna Smith. Now, Wilson is carrying that production into the postseason as she looks to lead the Aces to another championship, with the semifinals against the Fever beginning Sunday.

Carrington sustained the foot injury in Wednesday's Game 2 win over the Valkyries and won't return for the remainder of the playoffs. Natisha Hiedeman and Courtney Williams are candidates to absorb extra playing time due to Carrington being sidelined. The 27-year-old guard appeared in 31 regular-season games between Dallas and Minnesota, averaging 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals across 21.9 minutes per game. She's slated to become an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Dantas will miss her fourth consecutive game due to a concussion, and her next chance to suit up will come in Tuesday's Game 2 against Las Vegas. With the 32-year-old center sidelined, Natasha Howard, Brianna Turner and Aerial Powers are candidates for a slight bump in minutes.
