Born on Nov. 12, 1988 in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio&#8230; Daughter of Freddie and Robin Lavender, has one brother, Freddie, and a twin sister, Jazmine&#8230; Brother played college football and basketball. Attended Cleveland Central Catholic H.S. (Ohio), where she compiled 1,978 points, 1,278 rebounds and 527 assists in four varsity seasons; became the school’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder as a junior and led her school to the 2007 Ohio Division III state title. Selected as Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year (2007). Also played volleyball in high school and was named all-state and all-league.
