Finished four-year stint at Rutgers ranked fifth among Scarlet Knights' all-time career leaders in blocked shots, sixth in FG percentage, and 24th in total points.
2012-13: Led Rutgers in scoring 11 times. Came off bench in 10 of final 14 games after suffering a deep ankle bone bruise at Tennessee (Dec. 30). 2011-12: Honorable Mention All-BIG EAST after posting (then?) career highs in points and rebounds per game and leading Scarlet Knights in double-doubles. 2010-11: All-BIG EAST Second Team after leading club in FG percentage and blocks as well as being Knights' top scorer in conference play. 2009-10: Her team-leading FG percentage was the best by an RU frosh in 26 seasons. PREP: Won two state titles at Long Beach (Cal.) Poly after beginning at Cheyenne HS in North Las Vegas; earned all-state honors in California and Nevada. PERSONAL: Older brother Melvyn played one season at Seton Hall. Took up basketball when a friend persuaded her to join a co-ed team at age 9; always the tallest in her class, she initially resisted the urge to play, instead opting for gymnastics, ballet and cheerleading.
