A: Tip-Off Test Drive presented by CarMax starts Friday, May 16 and concludes Wednesday, May 21. 

Q: When do the Golden State Valkyries make their regular season debut?

A: The Golden State Valkyries play their first regular season game on the opening night, Friday, May 16. 

Q: Which other teams are playing on the opening night of the 2025 season?

A: Six total teams make their regular season debut on Friday, May 16:  

• Golden State Valkyries vs. Los Angeles Sparks (7:30 pm ET) 

• Minnesota Lynx vs. Dallas Wings (7:30 pm ET) 

• Atlanta Dream vs. Washington Mystics (10 pm ET) 

Q: When does each team make their regular season debut?

A: The remaining seven teams make their regular season debuts through Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18: 

• Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky (Saturday, 1 pm ET) 

• Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty (Saturday, 3 pm ET) 

• Phoenix Mercury vs. Seattle Storm (Saturday, 10 pm ET) 

• Connecticut Sun vs. Washington Mystics* (Sunday, 1 pm ET) 

*team already made its regular season debut 

Q: What games are not available LIVE within WNBA League Pass in my area?

A: During the 2025 WNBA season, in the U.S., certain nationally televised games (currently, those on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, CBS, CBS Sports Network and Amazon Prime Video) are not available live on WNBA League Pass. Additionally, certain nationally televised games within Canada (currently, those on SportsNet, CBS Sports Network and Amazon Prime Video) and other countries internationally (currently, those on Amazon Prime Video) are not available live on WNBA League Pass. The foregoing lists of U.S. and international televised games that are not available live on WNBA League Pass are subject to change and may be updated at any time.  

Additionally, consistent with local distribution of major league sports’ teams’ games in the US, locally televised games may not be available LIVE on WNBA League Pass in the participating teams’ local areas if otherwise available via a team’s local regional sports network, broadcast station or streaming partner.
