How Acquired: Makayla Timpson was selected by the Fever No. 19 overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
WNBA Career: As a rookie, Timpson averaged 2.6 points per game and 1.8 rebounds per game. In the postseason Timpson set career highs in points (9) and rebounds (5), both against Atlanta in the First Round of the WNBA Playoffs, contributing in both victories to help clinch a spot in the WNBA Semifinals.
College: Timpson turns pro following a four-year career at Florida State University where she set program records in rebounds (1,094) and double-doubles (47). In her senior season Timpson set single-season program records in rebounds (350) and blocks (103).
While at Florida State Timpson was a three-time ACC All-Defensive Team selection (2023-25), a two-time First-Team All-ACC (2024-25) and the 2023 ACC Most Improved Player.
