Rayah Marshall

Marshall was selected by the Sun with the No. 25 overall pick in this year's draft, but she didn't have a consistent role in the team's rotation during her rookie season. She played exclusively off the bench in her 15 appearances and averaged 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.0 minutes per game. It wouldn't be surprising to see her have to compete for an Opening Night roster spot in 2026, and she seems unlikely to carve out a fantasy-relevant role.

Marshall is set to suit up Wednesday after missing Monday's loss to the Liberty due to personal reasons. However, the 21-year-old center hasn't seen game action since July 28 and isn't guaranteed playing time against Dallas.

Making her second straight appearance since returning from an illness, Marshall once again saw a minimal workload for the Sun. For the season, Marshall is averaging 1.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per contest.

Marshall missed the last five games due to an illness, but managed to return in limited fashion Sunday. She was averaging 6.1 minutes across eight appearances coming into this game, but she saw a few extra garbage time minutes in the blowout win.
