Paige Bueckers

You could argue that Bueckers ran away with this award a long time ago. While the Wings didn't have much success on the court, Bueckers was a major bright spot for the team. Across 36 regular-season appearances, she averaged 19.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.1 three-pointers on 47.7 percent shooting from the field.

Bueckers showed out in her final matchup of the 2025 regular season, taking advantage against a Mercury team that wasn't particularly interested in giving the starters a full workload after being locked into the No. 4 seed before Thursday's game. Bueckers managed to pour in 20-plus points in two of her final three appearances of the regular season, also tallying three swats and five steals over this brief stretch to close out the year.

Bueckers was in a rhythm scoring the ball Sunday, and she tied for the team lead in assists as well. The rookie phenom is putting a nice bow on a successful first year in the WNBA -- Bueckers has averaged 20.4 points, 5.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.8 minutes per game while shooting a strong 50.7 percent from the floor across her last 15 appearances.

Bueckers posted an efficient shooting performance to keep her team close, putting up her best scoring night since Aug. 20. She also managed to bounce back after failing to record a steal in her last appearance, accounting for four of her team's 11 steals Thursday evening.

Bueckers scored 16-plus points for the second straight game and led the Wings in scoring, albeit in a losing effort. However, the star rookie had a limited impact outside the scoring column, dishing out fewer than three assists for the second time in her last four appearances. Over her last five outings, she has averaged 19.4 points, 4.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals across 30.2 minutes per game.
