2025 Season (Chicago Sky)
Reese followed her historic rookie campaign with another record-setting season in 2025, earning WNBA All-Star honors while leading the league in rebounds per game (12.6) for the second consecutive year.
She averaged 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, continuing to establish herself as one of the most productive and consistent players in the league. Reese recorded 23 double-doubles — tied for the third-most in a single season in WNBA history — and became the fastest player in league history to reach 46 career double-doubles.
She opened the season with a double-double (12 points, 17 rebounds) on May 17 vs. Indiana and later produced one of the most dominant stretches of the season with an 11-game double-double streak from June 22–July 29 — the third-longest in WNBA history. During that span, she earned Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors (July 9, 2025).
Reese remained a dominant force on the glass throughout the season, including a 20-rebound performance against Phoenix on August 28 — her season high. She also recorded a career-high 11 assists against Connecticut (June 15), showcasing continued growth as a playmaker.
Despite missing 14 games late in the season due to injury, Reese maintained elite production, posting multiple 20-point performances and continuing to rank among league leaders in rebounding and double-doubles.
By the end of the season, she ranked:
- No. 2 in franchise history in offensive rebounds (295)
- No. 8 in defensive rebounds (528)
She also holds:
- The top two single-season marks in franchise history for total rebounds
- The top two marks in rebounds per game
- Two of the top three marks in defensive rebounds
On a league-wide level, Reese became the only player in WNBA history to rank No. 1 and No. 2 in single-season rebounds per game (13.1 in 2024, 12.6 in 2025), further solidifying her place among the most dominant rebounders the league has seen.
2024 Season (Chicago Sky)
Reese delivered one of the most dominant rookie seasons in WNBA history, rewriting the league’s rebounding record book and immediately establishing herself as an elite interior presence.
She set the WNBA single-season record for rebounds per game (13.1) and the all-time record for consecutive double-doubles (15), finishing with 26 double-doubles — the second-most in a single season in league history.
Reese totaled 446 rebounds, the second-highest single-season total in WNBA history, and became the first player to record three consecutive games with 20 or more rebounds. She also led the league in offensive rebounds per game (5.1), consistently generating second-chance opportunities and controlling possession on the glass.
Her impact extended beyond rebounding. With Reese on the floor, Chicago operated at a defensive rating consistent with a top-tier unit; when she was off the court, the team’s defensive efficiency dropped significantly. Her ability to guard multiple positions, create turnovers, and anchor the paint established her as one of the league’s most impactful defensive players as a rookie.
