Cardoso put together an outstanding performance across the board, finishing second on her team in scoring while leading the way in swats. This was a strong end to Cardoso's sophomore WNBA campaign, reaching the 20-point threshold for the sixth time in 40 appearances this season.

Cardoso was only one of two players on her squad to crack double digits in the scoring column. She also ripped down a game-high total in the rebounding department. The 24-year-old center has grabbed 13 or more boards in six games during the 2025 campaign.

Cardoso led the way for her squad in points, assists and blocks in an otherwise forgettable 20-point blowout loss. She has racked up nine or more boards 19 times during the 2025 campaign.

Cardoso was tremendously accurate from inside the paint, and she also continued her solid work on the defensive end. Angel Reese picked up her eighth technical foul of the 2025 season in the victory, so she might be facing a one-game suspension. If so, Cardoso could have some added value during Friday's game against the Fever.

Cardoso struggled from the charity stripe, scoring single-digit points after reaching double figures in her previous seven outings. Still, the second-year center tied the game high in rebounds and led the Sky in blocks. Over her last five appearances, she has averaged 16.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 blocks across 31.6 minutes per game.
