Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu

Fankam Mendjiadeu appeared in seven of Seattle's first eight games in 2024 but saw double-digit minutes only once. She averaged 3.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 13.8 minutes across 34 appearances during her rookie campaign with Seattle in 2023.

Fankam Mendjiadeu took the court in her rookie season this year after being drafted out of South Carolina in the second round 2023 WNBA Draft. The 24-year-old forward started eight games but mainly came off the bench for the Storm while serving as one of the primary backups in the post. Fankam Mendjiadeu showcased her ability to pitch in offensively and clean up the boards and could see an expanded role in her sophomore season next year.

Fankam Mendjiadeu's minutes have been held to the teens in her past five games. With the Storm eliminated, Mercedes Russell will move into the starting lineup as the franchise looks to shake things up.

Fankam Mendjiadeu started for the Storm but played just 15 minutes in the win. She has now played fewer than 16 minutes in three straight games after back-to-back 25-minute performances. Having already been eliminated from the postseason, the Storm are likely to shuffle their rotation for the remaining games. For the season, Fankam Mendjiadeu is averaging just 4.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per night.

Fankam Mendjiadeu led all players in Sunday's game in rebounding while finishing two points short of a double-double in a win over the Lynx. Fankam Mendjiadeu, who set a season-high mark in boards, has tallied 10 or more rebounds four times this year.
