Austin ended up starting 30 of her 38 games for the Mystics, and he average points per game (12.6) increased for the third consecutive season. She has averaged at least 6.4 rebounds per game in all four of her WNBA seasons, and she also had a career-best 1.2 blocks per game in 2025. Austin can be a good source of points, rebounds, steals and blocks again next season if he remains in a starting role.

Austin's stat line was modest Sunday, though her pair of blocks marked a milestone by bringing her career total to 100. The center has registered at least one block in 25 of 37 appearances this season and entered the contest averaging 1.1 rejections per game.

Austin found better success from the field Thursday after shooting a woeful 3-for-9 Sunday against LA. She also recorded her fourth double-double of the 2025 campaign, her first since July 26 against Seattle.

Austin notched a career-high 30 points against the Storm on Aug. 24, but she has been struggling massively with her shot since that output. In the three subsequent games after that outburst, Austin is averaging just 8.0 points while shooting 29.6 percent from the floor -- despite averaging 9.0 field goal attempts per game.

Austin was coming off a career-high 30-point performance in the loss to Seattle on Sunday. However, she was unable to repeat those numbers and had a subpar shooting display. The lack of consistency has been an issue for Austin of late. In six games since returning from a three-game absence due to a leg injury, Austin has scored more than 15 points just once while averaging 14.5 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor.
