Maya Caldwell

Caldwell played double-digit minutes in the first two games of Atlanta's first-round playoff series, but she wasn't used as much during Thursday's season-ending loss. Despite Thursday's usage, Caldwell had an encouraging season overall, averaging 5.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals in 18.5 minutes per game across 41 regular-season appearances (16 starts). She'll be a reserved player during the offseason, and it seems likely that the Dream will express interest in bringing her back.

Caldwell was on a heater coming into Wednesday's game, but she couldn't quite find her rhythm against the Sun. Her regular season will conclude with averages of 5.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals in 18.5 minutes per game.

Caldwell came only three rebounds shy of recording what would've been her first double-double of the 2025 campaign. She was also highly efficient, shooting 63.6 percent from the floor and 71.4 percent from beyond the arc.

Caldwell was extremely sharp from the field, and she was also effective on the glass. After going scoreless in just four minutes against the Sun on Monday, Caldwell's point total Wednesday tied a season high. It was her first game with double-digit points over her last nine outings.

Caldwell was sent to the bench, with Te-Hina Paopao making the start instead. The rookie had a tough time shooting, while Caldwell was efficient from downtown, as well as from the free-throw line. She has scored at least eight points just twice in the past seven outings.
