Kitija Laksa

The Mercury relied on their bench Thursday with a playoff spot already secured, resulting in more run for Laksa. With the regular season in the books, Laksa finished with averages of 5.9 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 19.0 minutes.

Laksa continues to be used sparingly by the Mercury. For five straight games, Laksa has seen 14 or fewer minutes off the bench.

Laksa was coming off a 13-point outing in 11 minutes against the Mystics on Sunday, but if Wednesday is any indication, she's going to struggle to see consistent minutes in this rotation. Over her last four appearances, she's seen 18 or fewer minutes in every outing.

This performance came out of nowhere, as Laksa scored a combined seven points in her previous four outings. In 22.2 minutes per game this season, Laksa holds averages of 7.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists.

The Mercury had multiple key players return to action Wednesday, and Laksa's minutes took a hit as a result. Laksa was trending down anyway, scoring a combined nine points in her last four games.
