Davis made four appearances for the Sky in 2024, posting averages of 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 13.0 minutes. Despite having six years of WNBA experience, there's no guarantee she'll latch on with another team.

Davis went scoreless in her previous three appearances this season, and while she delivered a solid showing in the season finale, it was mainly due to the Sky playing several non-regulars. Davis averaged 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in her four contests in 2024.

Davis was let go by Chicago earlier Wednesday, but she'll rejoin the team ahead of Thursday's regular-season finale against the Sun. She's averaged 7.0 minutes per game over three appearances with the Sky but hasn't made much of a statistical impact.

Davis joined the Sky on a hardship contract last Wednesday, and she totaled 21 minutes of playing time over three appearances before she was let go. In those outings, Davis failed to score, and she collected just one rebound.

Davis signed a hardship contract with the Sky on Wednesday but was able to pass her physical in time to suit up against Washington. Angel Reese (wrist) and Diamond DeShields (ankle) will both be sidelined Wednesday, but it seems somewhat unlikely that Davis will see substantial minutes behind Michaela Onyenwere, Isabelle Harrison and Brianna Turner.
