#WNBAPlayoffs: Two Playoff Nail-biters in One Night
If you’re looking for drama, Friday night’s games delivered on all fronts.
Both matchups between the No. 1 and 4 seeds in each conference were decided by less than four points, including one that wasn’t decided until double overtime.
After four combined hours of heart-pounding action, the Mystics and Lynx were left standing with wins over the Liberty and Sparks, respectively.

The postseason is the time for stars to shine, and it was Maya Moore’s turn on Friday night. With the dangerous Sparks battling to steal Game 1 on her home court, Moore took over in the second half, scoring 15 points in the third quarter.
The 2014 MVP finished with a playoff career-high 33 points to start Minnesota’s quest for a third title in five seasons.

#MysticsLiberty: Washington Wins Double-Overtime Thriller at The Garden
In a game that featured 14 ties and 23 lead changes, the Mystics pulled off a stunner at Madison Square Garden in a nearly three-hour epic — the first WNBA Playoff game at “The World’s Most Famous Arena” since 2010.
Washington withstood 20+-point efforts from New York stars Tina Charles and Epiphanny Prince and matched the Liberty’s toughness inside. Emma Meesseman’s layup with 1.6 second left in the first overtime sent the game to a second OT, and the Mystics gained control of the series with their fourth win in five games against the Liberty this season.
#NBATV: Game 2 Double-Header on Saturday Night
Two teams are looking to keep their season alive and two teams are looking to advance to the Conference Finals on Saturday night (7 PM ET & 9 PM ET).
The 2-3 matchups in each conference shift to Indiana and Tulsa, respectively, for a primetime double-header on Saturday night: The Fever are out to slow MVP Elena Delle Donne and the Sky’s momentum, while the Shock will have to find an answer for Brittney Griner after the Mercury center blocked a playoff-record 11 shots in a Game 1 rout.
