Next up? A matchup with Elena Delle Donne and the Sky, Wednesday on NBA TV (12:30 PM ET).

#WatchMeWork: Superstars Shining

WNBA.com’s Michelle Smith called Tina Charles the first-half MVP in her most recent “Inside the W” column.

It’s hard to argue with 22+ points and 9+ rebounds per night, though Nneka Ogwumike — June’s other Player of the Month presented by Samsung — and her 70% shooting have a case.

Check out Charles’ top plays from her spectacular season so far:

#RookieReport: Breanna Stewart Is On Another Level

It seems like every week the No. 1 overall pick is doing something to amaze. Sunday’s masterpiece included 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting — 4-of-5 from three — to go with 11 rebounds and five assists.

If her scoring (19.5 PPG, 5th in the league), rebounding (9.7 RPG, 1st) and shot-blocking (1.9 BPG, 3rd) weren’t enough, Stewie’s 18 threes over her last eight games ranks fifth in the league and she’s shooting 50% from deep over that span.

WNBA.com recently caught up with the two-time Rookie of the Month.

#ThankYouLJ: Storm to Retire No. 15 on Friday

The Seattle Storm will honor one of the WNBA’s all-time greats on Friday when Lauren Jackson’s No. 15 goes up into the rafters.

#LosLynx: Minny Reels Off 40-4 Run

The Lynx have made dominance the norm this season and beyond, but on Saturday they reached another level. They reeled off an incredible 40-4 run against the Wings, leading by as many as 46 points.

Speaking of 40, Maya Moore dropped a season-high 40 points in a losing effort against the Sun on Thursday — her third career game with 40+ points.

Liberty head coach Bill Laimbeer became the seventh WNBA coach to reach 700 career wins with a road victory over the Sky.
