Diana Taurasi entered tonight’s game needing just one made 3-pointer to pass Katie Smith as the WNBA’s all-time leader with 907. Taurasi did just that and much more, tying a WNBA record with eight 3-pointers in the victory over the Sky.

Taurasi, who also entered the game with 7,362 career points, needed 19 to pass Tamika Catching for second all-time in league scoring and was 127 away from taking the top spot held by Tina Thompson. Taurasi finished with 37 points, claiming the second spot and is now only 90 points away from the No. 1 spot.
