  • Angel McCoughtry hit a three pointer with 1.5 seconds left to lift the Dream to a 76-74 victory over the Lynx after Atlanta outscored Minnesota 26-18 in the fourth quarter. After the loss, the Lynx finish up the season-high-tying three-game road trip 1-2 and move to 2-3 on the season.
  • Sylvia Fowles recorded her fourth double-double of the season (131st career) after finishing the night 13 points and 13 rebounds. Fowles added three assists and a blocked shot.
  • Maya Moore led the way for the Lynx with 18 points on 8-of-19 shooting and for the fourth straight game, pulled down seven rebounds.
  • With her free throw in the first quarter, Rebekkah Brunson surpassed 4,000 career points. Brunson finished 10 points, four rebounds and two steals.
  • Seimone Augustus added in 12 points on 5-of-12 shooting, five rebounds and season-high four assists.
  • In 21:21 minutes off the bench, Danielle Robinson added four points and dished out a season-high and a game-high six assists.
  • Minnesota outrebounded the Dream 38-27 tonight led by Fowles’ 13 boards and Maya Moore’s seven. The Lynx have now had the rebounding advantage in four out of the team’s first five games.
  • The Lynx return home on Friday night to take on the Phoenix Mercury for the first time this season. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m. CT. The game can be heard on BOB 106 FM and can be seen on ESPN2.

Dream Notes

  •  Tiffany Hayes finished with a game-high 20 points on 5-of-12 shooting including going a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. Tonight was Hayes’ second 20+ point performance of the season.
  • In her first game against her former team, Renee Montgomery finished with 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting and dished out a team-high-tying five assists.
