The Dallas Wings won the first overall pick at the 2025 WNBA Draft Lottery presented by State Farm held on November 17, 2024. The Wings will have the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft for the second time in franchise history. With the 2021 No. 1 pick coming via trade, this marks the first time the Wings won the Draft Lottery.
By missing the 2024 WNBA Playoffs presented by Google, the Dallas Wings, Los Angeles Sparks, Chicago Sky, and Washington Mystics qualified for the 2025 Draft Lottery presented by State Farm.
The Los Angeles Sparks, which had the most chances to win the top pick, won the second selection, but traded it to the Seattle Storm, thus the Storm now possess the pick.
The Dallas Wings and Chicago Sky, each of whom posted a combined record of 31-49 over the past two seasons, tied for the second-most chances at the top pick with 227 chances out of 1,000. The Chicago Sky received the third selection, but traded it to the Washington Mystics, thus the Mystics now possess the pick. The Washington Mystics received the fourth overall pick, so the Mystics will now be selecting both third and fourth in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
First Round
Las Vegas has had its own first round pick rescinded.
Second Round
Third Round
The WNBA Draft consisted of three rounds, with each round taking place on April 14th.
The order of team picks in each round are the inverse order of the standings from the last regular season, except for the first four picks of the first round, which are determined by the Draft Lottery and any picks traded. Additionally, Golden State received the fifth pick in each round in their inaugural expansion season.
Draft picks can be traded among teams, so the order and number of picks per team can change significantly.
Exercised draft picks can be traded during or after the Draft.
