Collegiate Career (Mississippi State & South Carolina)
Okot began her collegiate career at Mississippi State (2024–25), where she played in all 34 games and immediately established herself as one of the SEC’s most efficient and productive centers. She averaged 11.3 points and a team‑high 9.6 rebounds, while leading the SEC and ranking fourth nationally with a .649 field‑goal percentage. She closed the season with 12 double‑doubles, 22 double‑figure scoring games, and 17 double‑figure rebounding performances.
Following her breakout year, Okot transferred to South Carolina (2025–26), where she helped guide the Gamecocks to a national championship appearance. She averaged 12.8 points and an SEC‑best 10.6 rebounds per game, finishing third in the nation with 22 double‑doubles.
Her dominant two‑year NCAA career culminated in her selection as the 13th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft by the Atlanta Dream, marking a historic moment as the first Kenyan woman ever drafted in the top 15.
