The initial selection of the WNBA All-Stars was conducted through a combination of voting by fans (50 percent of the vote), current WNBA players (25 percent), and a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters (25 percent). After considering the fan, player, and media votes, players who were in the top 10 of votes received and who were also not currently on the USA Women’s National Team 5-on-5 roster (Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Dearica Hamby, and Arike Ogunbowale) were automatically named to participate in the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game and assigned to Team WNBA.

The names of the next 36 highest vote-getters not already on the USA Women’s National Team, available here, were then provided to the 12 WNBA head coaches, who voted to fill the eight remaining spots for the 12-player Team WNBA roster. Coaches were not able to vote for their own players. Each coach was required to submit votes for five frontcourt players, three guards, and four additional players at any position.
