That's the question on everyone's mind Friday morning -- even Mercury coach Sandy Brondello.
"I haven't heard anything," Brondello said at 12:20 a.m. ET Friday morning. "She's being evaluated now -- well, she may actually be on the flight -- so they haven't updated me on anything, so it's just wait and see basically."
According the Mercury's official statement on Thursday. Griner was scheduled to be re-evaluated by doctors this morning in Phoenix and then fly to Chicago after. From there, she'd be a game-time decision for Game 3, which tips at 8PM ET on ESPN2.
The players -- namely Diana Taurasi -- had some fun with the developing situation.
"Its on ongoing investigation. You can reach my lawyer at any time, Taurasi joked. I dont know. Brittneys a world traveler. She loves Vegas."
"Our focus is the game. We don't know what's going on with Brittney Griner," Phoenix forward Candice Dupree said. "She might show up, she might not. We'll see what happens on the bus this afternoon."
Jokes aside -- obviously we know where she is, shell be around," a more serious Taurasi clarified -- the team is focused and ready for Game 3 with or without their star center.
"We control the controllables," Brondello added. "I'm sure she wants to play, we would love her to play, but we have to go by what the doctors say."
