Gulich logged 17 or more minutes in each of her first three games of the season, but she only logged double-digit minutes twice during the rest of the year, and he didn't see the court in four of the Sparks' last five contests. She's been a bench player during her first three years in the league, and that is not expected to change for the 2021 season -- regardless if she stays with the Sparks or signs with another team.

Gulich (ankle) collected six points (2-5 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two steals over 17 minutes of action Wednesday versus the Fever.

Gulich likely wound up playing more minutes than initially planned after Nneka Ogwumike departed the contest with a hamstring injury. If the issue turns out to cost Ogwumike extended time, Gulich could be in line for major minutes and potentially a starting role moving forward.

Gulich (ankle) is considered probable for Wednesday's clash with the Fever, per a press release from the team.

Gulich should supply the Sparks with some additional frontcourt depth moving forward. However, it's unlikely she will garner enough consistent playing time to warrant DFS consideration barring absences from others in the team's frontcourt rotation.

Gulich remains bothered by an ankle issue that held her out for the opener as well. There isn't a clear-cut timetable for her to retake the floor, though there's also nothing to suggest the issue is anything more than a day-to-day problem at this point.

Gulich, who provided support as a backup center for the Dream last season, could struggle to find minutes in a deep Sparks frontcourt. With Nneka Ogwumike and Chiney Ogwumike likely dialed in as the top options at center, Gulich figures to serve in a limited rotational role for the upcoming season.

Gulich averaged 3.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks over 31 appearances for the Dream in 2019.

The second-year center improved in almost every major statistical category this season, as she finished with career-bests in points, rebounds, blocks and assists although regressing in some aspects like field-goal and free-throw percentages. Gulich established new career-highs with 15 points and 12 rebounds in her best performance of the season against the Aces on Aug. 13.

Gulich will come off the bench Friday against the Liberty.
