About Angel Robinson

Angel Robinson (born April 20, 1987) is a forward for the Phoenix Mercury.


Two-year WNBA player having spent the 2014 season in Seattle and 2017 with Phoenix

Selected 20th overall by Los Angeles in the 2010 WNBA Draft…attended Washington’s training camp in 2011

Rights acquired by Phoenix on June 25, 2016 in a trade with Seattle

Career averages of 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 40 games, including nine career starts

Scored a career-high 14 points on August 6, 2017 at Washington

One career playoff appearance with Phoenix in 2017…averaged 0.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in three games

88.2-percent (15-of-17) career free throw shooter…both misses came in 2014 with Seattle



Appeared in 15 games with the Mercury in 2017, getting the start in eight games due to Brittney Griner’s injury

Played alongside the Mercury’s DeWanna Bonner on Nadezhda in Russia during the 2015-16 WNBA offseason…averaged 8.3 points on 52.6-percent shooting and 6.8 rebounds in 30 games of Russian League play…averaged 8.8 points and 8.4 rebounds in 18 games of EuroLeague play
