A versatile guard with size and a 50-game starter over the past four seasons with Indiana, Johnson missed the second half of the 2017 campaign and all of 2018 after sustaining a torn left ACL during practice in July 2017. She was acquired in a February 2015 trade with San Antonio, and with the Fever compiled arguably her two best seasons as a pro, including a trip to the 2015 WNBA Finals. She was tops in the WNBA in free throw percentage (60-of-64, .938) in 2016, ending the year with 40 straight made charity tosses (second in franchise history).

She plans a return to the court in 2019.

PRO-WNBA

2018:      Rehabbing from a 2017 left ACL injury, Johnson was cleared for practice and contact in late July 2018, but a hamstring pull and Indiana’s elimination from the playoffs dictated a delay in her return to the court.

2017:      Johnson was averaging a career-high 11.3 points at the time of a season-ending torn left ACL during practice on July 11…she had started 13 of 14 games, including a career-high, 24-point performance at Seattle in the Fever’s season opener, 5/14…she had a season-high eight rebounds in the same game… she poured in 22 points against Connecticut, 7/1…she scored in double figures in 8 of 14 games…the Fever were 7-9 at the time of her injury, but won just 2 of 18 games the rest of the season.

2016:      Johnson led the WNBA in free throw percentage and broke Indiana’s single-season franchise mark with a 93.8 percent clip from the foul stripe…she made 40 straight free throws to end the regular season, dating to July 15…Johnson finished second on the team with 9.8 points per game…she also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, while appearing in 29 games with 10 starts…she set a career scoring high with 23 points off the bench at Connecticut, 9/13, shooting 9-of-13 from the floor…that bested a previous career high of 21 points, just 12 days earlier against New York, 9/1…she turned in seven assists, her highest figure in a Fever uniforn, in a win over Phoenix, 5/18…Johnson made a career-high five 3FGs in a win at Seattle, 7/10…she missed three games, 5/29 to 6/3, due to concussion protocol; and two, 6/19-22, with a right knee strain.

2015:      Johnson was a top candidate for the WNBA’s Most Improved Player Award through much of 2015, finishing second on the team in points per game, assists and rebounds…a starter in 27 out of 31 games played, she averaged 10.9 points per game, with 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists, and was third in the WNBA with a career-best 41.3 percentage behind the 3-point stripe…she shot a career-high 46.7 percent overall, 15th in the WNBA…she also added 1.13 steals per game, including career-tying efforts with four steals in consecutive games against Connecticut and Washington, 6/30-7/2…she twice logged a season-high 19 points, against New York, 7/29, and Atlanta, 8/28.

2014:      Played in 30 games and made one start while averaging 6.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game…shot a career-best 40.0 percent from the field, 37.2 percent from 3-point range and 82.9 percent from the free throw line…dished out a career-high eight assists in the season finale at Chicago, 8/17.

2013:      Appeared in 33 games, made 24 starts and averaged a career-high 11.0 points…scored a career-high 20 points on 10-for-14 shooting in the season finale against Atlanta, 9/15…recorded the first double-double of her WNBA career with 17 points and 10 rebounds vs. Seattle, 8/25.

2012: Played in all 34 regular-season games, starting one…averaged 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4. assists and 0.8 steals per game…led all WNBA rookies in 3-point field goal percentage (41.2), ranked sixth in rebounding average (3.9), and ninth in scoring average (5.6)…ranked second on the team in 3-point field goal percentage…notched six double-figure scoring performances…had five points in her professional debut at Tulsa on May 19…set a San Antonio franchise rookie record for most 3-point field goals made without a miss, going 4-for-4 from beyond the arc against Minnesota on Sept. 23.

Johnson has reached the playoffs in 4 of 5 WNBA seasons , including a trip to the Finals in 2015…she averages 12.0 points per game through two postseasons with Indiana.

2016:      Johnson came off the bench to tally eight points and four boards in a first-round loss to Phoenix.

2015:      Johnson started all 11 Fever playoff games, averaging 12.4 points per contest…she made her first trip to the WNBA Finals and averaged 10.4 points during each of five games against Minnesota…she was a double-digit scorer in 10 of 11 playoff games overall, while averaging 4.5 rebounds and shooting 50 percent (57-of-114) from the field…she shot 10-of-15 from the floor and scored a playoff career-high 22 points in a deciding Game 3 win at Chicago, 9/21, to send Indiana to the East Finals.

2014:      Played in both Western Conference Semifinal games against Minnesota…averaged 2.0 points in 9.0 minutes per game…Scored four points to go with a rebound and an assist in Game 1 at Minnesota, 8/21.

2012:      Played in both Western Conference Semifinal games against Los Angeles…averaged 3.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game…recorded four points and four rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench in Game 1, 9/27.

PRO-OVERSEAS

2016-17: Johnson played in Sopron, Hungary, beginning in mid-January…she averaged 15.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in the Hungarian League…she recorded 16.0 points, 7.7 boards and 3.7 assists in seven EuroLeague contests.

2015-16: Johnson contributed 12.3 points per game in EuroCup play for Good Angels Kosice in Slovakia…she averaged 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds in domestic league play.

2014-15: Averaged 16.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game with Istanbul Universitesi BDG in Turkey.

2013-14: Averaged 14.4 points per game with Istanbul Universitesi BDG.
