Drafted in the 2025 Expansion Draft to the Golden State Valkyries
Player News
Despite the inefficient shooting from the field, Martin still helped pick up the slack in the backcourt left behind by starter Kaila Charles' two points. It was Martin's first time in double figures since Sept. 2 versus the Liberty, and it wouldn't be surprising if the Lynx opted to take a hot-hand approach while facing potential elimination Wednesday against Minnesota.
Player News
Martin made three triples off the bench, taking advantage of her playing time, while also adding three rebounds. With the hot hand, she might have played even more, but she also racked up three personal fouls in rather short order.
Player News
Martin maximized her bench minutes, going perfect from three-point range. While her offensive output has fluctuated this season, she's now reached double figures in three of the Valkyries' past five games.
Player News
Martin drew the start Tuesday in place of Cecilia Zandalasini (calf) but will head back to the bench Friday due to Iliana Rupert entering the first five. The second-year guard has mostly worked in a reserve role this season, starting in just four of her 33 appearances.
Player News
Martin was expected to come off the bench Tuesday but was inserted into the starting lineup after Cecilia Zandalasini was scratched late. This marks her fourth start of the season and first since Aug. 1.
