Sika Koné

Kone spent time with Washington and Atlanta in 2025, but she wasn't part of the rotation during her time with the Dream. After averaging just 1.4 minutes per game over her eight regular-season appearances with Atlanta, she totaled just three minutes of playing time across the team's first two games in the first-round series against Indiana. Kone will be a reserved player during the offseason, but it wouldn't be surprising to see her have the opportunity to seek out other deals.

Kone was waived by the Mystics on Aug. 5. She hasn't appeared in a game since July 15 after being temporarily suspended by Washington. She will get a chance at a fresh start in Atlanta. The 23-year-old forward has played in 11 games during the 2025 campaign, averaging 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game, shooting 38.9 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from deep.

Sika Koné signed a Rest-of-Season Contract with the Atlanta Dream.

After shipping Brittney Sykes to the Storm and acquiring Alysha Clark, Washington has also decided to let Kone go in the wake of the deal. Kone's contract had been temporarily suspended by the Mystics, and she hadn't appeared in action since July 15. She's averaged just 6.7 minutes per game across 11 outings this year.
