Rae Burrell

Burrell drew her first start of the year during Thursday's regular-season finale, and she scored in double figures for a third consecutive game. The 25-year-old sustained a knee injury on Opening Night, which forced her to miss 16 games. However, she remained healthy over the second half of the season and consistently saw double-digit minutes off the bench. In total, she averaged 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.6 steals in 18.4 minutes per game over 28 appearances. Burrell will be a reserved free agent during the offseason, and it's possible that the Sparks will express interest in bringing her back for the 2026 campaign.

Burrell will step into the starting lineup with both Rickea Jackson (lower leg) and Julie Allemand (ankle) downgraded to out. This will be Burrell's first start of the regular season, which comes after a 20-point performance in her last appearance Tuesday against Phoenix.

Burrell delivered an efficient performance after shooting just 25 percent from the field in her previous three outings. The 25-year-old guard posted a career-high 20 points and finished as the Sparks' second-leading scorer in the win. She has now scored double-digit points in eight of her 27 regular-season appearances.

Burrell had tremendous difficulty shooting, especially from distance. While she has had spurts of effectiveness off the bench lately, she has really had difficulty shooting from distance, shooting just 11.8 percent from beyond the arc over her last six outings.
