WNBA Theme Nights: August 12-18

Chicago Sky- SuperHERO Night (August 16)

On Friday, August 16th at 7 PM come dressed to the Chicago Sky game as your favorite superhero! SuperHERO night benefits La Rabida Children’s Hospital.

Connecticut Sun – Rock the Pink Weekend (August 16 &18)

The Sun take on the Storm on Friday, August 16th  at 7:30 PM and the Wings on Sunday, August 18th at 3 PM. Over the weekend, the Sun will wear specialized jerseys featuring pink accents to highlight our Breast Health Awareness Weekend. Both games will have elements to honor those who have passed and champion the survivors resulting in a special weekend both on and off the court!

Dallas Wings- Cool for School Night (August 16)

On Friday, August 16th at 7 PM the Dallas Wings will host the New York Liberty for Cool for School Night. Don’t miss the drawstring backpacks the Wings are handing out!

Minnesota Lynx- We Are Women Night (August 16)

The night will feature an inspiring pregame conversation, hosted by FSN’s Marney Gellner, with WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert at the Lumber Exchange. Then, at 7 PM the Lynx host the Mystics.

New York Liberty- Mental Health Awareness (August 13)

On Tuesday, August 13th at 7 PM, the Liberty host the Lynx for their Mental Health Awareness Game.

Phoenix Mercury- Orange Friday (August 16) & Wellness Sunday (August 18)

On Friday, August 16th at 7 PM the Mercury host the Dream for Orange Friday. Be sure to arrive early for the orange pom-poms giveaway! Then on August 18th at 3 PM the Mercury host Wellness Sunday presented by Steward Health Care. On Sunday, make sure to pick up your kid’s giveaway bag!

Seattle Storm- BHA Night (August 18)

On Sunday, August 18th the Seattle Storm will hold their Breast Health Awareness Night presented by Swedish Cancer Institute. The game will feature Storm players in limited edition jerseys, an auction of marquee items, and a special appearance by 2018 WNBA MVP and Finals MVP Breanna Stewart and ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe. Washington Mystics- Deaf Awareness Night (August 14) & Block Out Cancer (August 18)

On Wednesday, August 14 the first 2,000 fans at the game against the Seattle Storm will receive an Elena Delle Donne bobblehead courtesy of Giant. Then on August 18th, the team will don their pink and black uniforms for Block Out Cancer, the annual breast health awareness game. The team will auction off game-worn jerseys and other unique items during their annual auction to benefit a local cancer charity.
