USA Defeats France in Final Exhibition Ahead of FIBA World Cup
The USA Basketball Women’s National Team defeated France, 77-60, on Monday in the final exhibition of its preparation for the FIBA World Cup. The USA finished 3-0 in exhibitions in Antibes, France, with victories over Canada, Senegal and France.
Diana Taurasi was named MVP of the four-team, round-robin tournament ahead of the World Cup. Taurasi led the USA with 16 points and six assists on Monday, while Tina Charles recorded a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The USA will now determine its final roster that will compete in Tenerife, Spain from September 22-30. Members of the Seattle Storm and Washington Mystics, who played in the WNBA Finals, are available to join the squad.
