USA Basketball Upends Senegal, 109-58, In World Cup Exhibition Game

USA Basketball proved to be dominant in its FIBA World Cup exhibition game against Senegal today in Antibes, France, winning 109-58. WNBA Rookie of the Year, A’ja Wilson, led USA Basketball with 22 points. Five USA Basketball players notched double-figures in the scoring column, including WNBA standouts; Morgan Tuck (15 points), Kelsey Plum (12 points), Brittney Griner (10 points), and Tiffany Mitchell (10 points).
Next up for USA Basketball is an exhibition game on September 17, when they face France (2:30 PM ET) during its final FIBA World Cup exhibition game.
The FIBA World Cup in Tenerife, Spain begins next week and will be played from September 22-30.
