Social Recap: The Washington Mystics Win The WNBA Finals 2019

What a night.
In front of over 4,200 energetic fans in the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington D.C., the Washington Mystics became WNBA Champions for the first time in their franchise history with an 89-78 win in Game 5 over the Connecticut Sun. Elena Delle Donne dropped 21 PTS, while frontcourt mate Emma Meesseman tallied 22 PTS and earned MVP of the WNBA Finals 2019 presented by YouTube TV. The hype surrounding the finale of an incredible WNBA season extended beyond inside the arena, as social media was buzzing all night about the game and the Mystics’ eventual feat:
