Social Recap: Courtney Paris Jersey Retirement
On November 10th, Dallas Wings’ center Courtney Paris was honored by Oklahoma University with the retirement of her number 3 jersey. A four-year standout for the Sooners, Paris averaged 19.9 points, 14.8 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game while also being named the 2007 Associated Press Women’s Basketball player of the year.
Paris just completed her 8th WNBA season where she has played for five teams including the Sacramento Monarchs, Chicago Sky, Los Angeles Sparks, Tulsa Shock and the Wings.
