Former Teammates and Opponents on Ruth Riley’s New Position as GM of the Stars
On Wednesday the San Antonio Stars made a splash in their front office with the hire of former NCAA and WNBA champio Ruth Riley.
Riley has enjoyed success at every level of her career, starting with a 2001 NCAA Championship at Notre Dame and culminating in a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics and two WNBA championships in 2003 and 2006 with the Detroit Shock. She is also known for her work in the community and has served as Vice President of the WNBA Players’ Union since 2005.
