On Friday, September 8th, WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo was welcomed into the realm of basketball immortality as she was enshrined into the Naismith Hall of Fame. Lobo was one of the pioneers of the WNBA as she was one of its key figures when it began in 1997. She played six seasons in the league with the Liberty, Comets and eventually ending her career in with the Connecticut Sun. She has gone on to become one of the leading commentators and voices on the WNBA today.
