President Obama to Honor the 2015 WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx

The Minnesota Lynx will make a return trip to the White House on Monday, the Office of the Press Secretary announced today.
President Obama will welcome and honor the team for its 2015 WNBA championship victory — a visit that will “continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities,” a White House press release said.
Of course, the Lynx are no strangers to the President, having twice met him already in 2012 and 2014. Minnesota looks set to make another White House appointment after getting off to a stellar start. They are still undefeated having started the season 13-0 — a WNBA record — and on Sunday visit the Washington Mystics.
