The signings represent a defining moment for the Atlanta Dream underscoring a powerful vote of confidence in the organization, as five of the league’s most impactful players, each integral to the team’s identity and success, commit to its future. Combined with the newly acquired Angel Reese, the Dream has solidified a foundation built on elite talent, continuity and a shared drive to compete for a WNBA championship.

The group was instrumental in the Dream’s historic 2025 season, which saw 30 wins and a .682 winning percentage, the best marks in team history. Atlanta emerged as one of the league’s most dynamic and efficient teams, driven by a system that elevated performance across the roster.

Gray, acquired by Atlanta ahead of the 2023 season, has elevated her game to an elite level during her time with the Dream, earning All-Star honors in each of her three seasons with the franchise. A former Rookie of the Year and Olympic gold medalist, she delivered an All-WNBA First Team season in 2025 while finishing fourth in MVP voting, establishing herself as one of the league’s most complete and consistent two-way players.

Jones, who joined the Dream in 2025, is a four-time All-Star and one of the WNBA’s most efficient and dominant interior presences. She recorded 12 double-doubles during the 2025 season, doubling her career total in her first year with the Dream, further underscoring her production and consistency, while adding to a résumé that includes Sixth Player of the Year in 2022 and Most Improved Player in 2021.

Under Head Coach Karl Smesko, her offensive game expanded significantly, highlighted by 53 made three-pointers after entering the season with just one in her career. Combined with her ability as a cutter, playmaker and passer, along with her durability, evidenced by a franchise record for consecutive games (151) played, Hillmon continues to set the standard.

In 2025, she became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 300 career three-pointers and established herself as one of the most impactful defensive wings in the league.

NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2025 – Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson, the 2025 Kia WNBA Most Valuable Player and Kia WNBA Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier have been unanimously selected to the 2025 All-WNBA First Team, the WNBA announced today.
Wilson and Collier, the runner-up for the 2025 Kia WNBA Most Valuable Player Award, were named to the All-WNBA First Team on all 72 ballots in voting by a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. Wilson earned a spot on the First Team for the fourth consecutive season and is an All-WNBA pick for the sifth time overall. Collier, a four-time All-WNBA Team selection, was voted to the First Team for the third straight season.
Joining Wilson and Collier (360 points each) on the 2025 All-WNBA First Team are Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas (358), Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray (341) and Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell (320).
This is the fourth All-WNBA Team selection for Thomas, who makes her third consecutive appearance on the First Team. Gray and Mitchell are All-WNBA Team selections for the first time.
The 2025 All-WNBA Second Team consists of Seattle Storm forward Nneka Ogwumike (185 points), Aces guard Jackie Young (148), Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu (125), Fever center Aliyah Boston (112) and Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers (112).
Ogwumike is an All-WNBA Team choice for the eighth time, Ionescu for the fourth time and Young for the second time. Boston makes her debut on the All-WNBA Team. Bueckers’ selection marks the second straight season a rookie was selected to the All-WNBA Team (Indiana’s Caitlin Clark was a First Team choice in 2024).
Voting for the All-WNBA Team was conducted at the conclusion of the regular season. Players were selected without regard to position and received five points for each First Team vote and three points for each Second Team vote.
2025 All-WNBA First Team 
A’ja Wilson, Aces: In her eighth WNBA season, Wilson earned a record fourth Kia WNBA MVP Award – her second consecutive MVP honor – and was a co-winner of the Kia WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Award along with Minnesota’s Alanna Smith. The 6-4 Wilson averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.3 blocked shots and 1.6 steals – all the second-best per-game marks of her career. She led the league in points per game for the second straight season and in blocks per game for the fifth time. Wilson also scored the most points (937) and had the highest efficiency rating (29.2) in the WNBA.
Napheesa Collier, Lynx: Collier, the runner-up to Wilson as the Kia WNBA MVP in 2024 and 2025, was the Kia WNBA Western Conference Player of the Month for May, June and July. She was selected to the WNBA All-Defensive Team for the fourth time. The 6-1 forward ranked second in the league in scoring with a career-high 22.9 points per game. In addition, Collier ranked 11th in rebounds per game (7.3) and third in steals per game (1.6). Behind Collier, the Lynx finished the regular season with the league’s best record (34-10).
Alyssa Thomas, Mercury: The 6-2 Thomas finished third in voting for the Kia WNBA MVP Award after setting a WNBA regular-season record with eight triple-doubles, extending her WNBA career-leading mark to 19. In addition, Thomas led the league in assists per game (9.2) and recorded a league record for total assists (357). She also finished third in the league in rebounds per game (8.8). Thomas was selected to the WNBA All-Defensive Team for the seventh time.
Allisha Gray, Dream: In her ninth WNBA season, Gray earned her third straight All-Star selection and was an All-Star starter for the first time. The 6-0 guard was named the Kia WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for May, June and August and finished fourth in voting for the Kia WNBA MVP Award. Gray ranked seventh in the league in scoring with a career-high 18.4 points per game. She also set career highs in rebounds (5.3) and assists per game (3.5) and ranked sixth in the WNBA in three-point field goals made (98).
Kelsey Mitchell, Fever: Mitchell ranked third in the WNBA in scoring with a career-high 20.2 points per game and made a league-leading 111 three-point field goals. In her eighth WNBA season, Mitchell was an All-Star selection for the third consecutive season and finished fifth in the voting for the Kia WNBA MVP Award. The 6-0 guard also contributed 3.4 assists per game.
2025 All-WNBA Second Team 
Nneka Ogwumike, Storm: In her 14th WNBA season, Ogwumike started all 44 regular season games and earned her 10th All-Star selection. The 6-2 forward ranked ninth in the WNBA in points per game (18.3), 13th in rebounds per game (7.0) and 11th in field goal percentage (51.9). Ogwumike also became the sixth player in league history to reach 7,000 career points and the only one to do so while shooting at least 50 percent from the field.
Jackie Young, Aces: The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft presented by State Farm and a two-time WNBA champion with Las Vegas, Young was an All-Star selection for the fourth season in a row. The 6-0 guard finished 12th in the league in scoring (16.5 points per game) and 11th in assists (5.1 apg), ranking second among Aces players in both categories while posting the second-best figure of her career in each.
Sabrina Ionescu, Liberty: The 5-11 guard ranked 10th in the WNBA in points per game (18.2) and sixth in assists per game (5.7). She also led the league in free throw percentage (93.3) and finished ninth in three-point field goals made (81). In addition, she contributed 4.9 rebounds and a career-high 1.3 steals per game. In her sixth WNBA season, Ionescu was selected as an All-Star for the fourth consecutive season.
Aliyah Boston, Fever: The unanimous 2023 Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year and an All-Star in all of her three WNBA seasons, Boston helped lead the Fever to a spot in the WNBA Semifinals and was named to the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team. The 6-5 center-forward averaged career highs of 15.0 points and 3.7 assists per game. She finished sixth among WNBA players in rebounds per game (8.2), fourth in total rebounds (361) and fifth in field goal percentage (53.8).
Paige Bueckers, Wings: The 2025 Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year led all rookies in total points (692), points per game (19.2), total assists (194) and assists per game (5.4). Among all players, Bueckers ranked fifth in scoring average, sixth in steals per game (1.6) and ninth in assists per game. The 6-0 guard, who was voted as a starter for the 2025 AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star Game, set a WNBA single-game scoring record for rookies with 44 points at the Los Angeles Sparks on Aug. 20.
In honor of their accomplishments, each member of the All-WNBA First Team will receive $10,300 and each member of the Second Team will receive $5,150.

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (AP) — <a class="Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement" href="https://x.com/WNBA/status/1968854362991521946" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-gtm-enhancement-style="LinkEnhancementA">Aliyah Boston made the go-ahead basket</a> with 7.4 seconds left, Lexie Hull <a class="Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement" href="https://x.com/IndianaFever/status/1968856460894351811" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-gtm-enhancement-style="LinkEnhancementA">stole the ensuing inbounds pass</a> and the Indiana Fever beat the No. 3-seeded Atlanta Dream 87-85 on Thursday night to advance to the WNBA semifinals.
Despite missing Caitlin Clark among its injured players, Indiana closed on a 7-0 run to win a playoff series for the first time since 2015. The sixth-seeded Fever will play on Sunday against the winner of Thursday’s other Game 3 between Seattle and Las Vegas.
Boston was left alone under the basket for an easy layup after Brionna Jones went to the ground going for a loose ball. It gave Indiana an 86-85 lead, its first since it was 33-30 in the second quarter.
Rhyne Howard twice had trouble inbounding the ball in the final seconds, with Hull coming from behind to poke it away from Jones. Indiana got it to Odyssey Sims, who went 1 of 2 at the free-throw line to give Atlanta another shot with 1.2 left. Jones’ off-balance 3-pointer at the buzzer was off the mark.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 24 points and Boston had 14 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Sims had 16 points and eight assists, and Natasha Howard added 12 points.
Allisha Gray had 19 points and 12 rebounds for her first playoff double-double to lead Atlanta. Jordin Canada also had a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists. Rhyne Howard scored 16 points and Jones had 12.
Atlanta, which was held to 60 points in a 17-point loss in Game 2 on Tuesday, reached 60 points with 6:09 left in the third quarter.
Shey Peddy made a 3-pointer with 6:06 remaining in the fourth to pull Indiana within 80-78. Neither team scored again until the 3:21 mark on Brianna Turner’s putback to tie it at 80-all.
Atlanta has not won a playoff series since 2016.

2019 WNBA Season (Dallas)
Has played in every single game of her first three seasons…Played 1,000 mins for the first time in her career…Pulled down her 100th career offensive rebound at WAS on 6/9&#8230; Led the team with eight rebounds vs. IND on 6/13&#8230;Set season-high marks against ATL on 6/15 with 16 points, 5 FGM, 5 FTM, 8 FTA and tied her season mark for rebounds with 8&#8230; Played a season-high 38 mins vs MIN on 6/30&#8230; Tied her career-high in steals (four) at Chicago 7/7&#8230; Poured in a career-high 22 points against the Liberty at home (8/16), followed the performance with another 22-point outing at Connecticut on 8/18.
2018 WNBA Season (Dallas)
Scored a season-high of 18 points against the Sun on 8/14&#8230; Dished out a new career-high of nine assists on 7/31 versus Chicago&#8230; Also had two takeaways the most stolen this season&#8230; Grabbed a season-high in total boards with six on 5/26 against Atlanta&#8230;Five of them on the defensive side&#8230; Recorded three steals for a new season-high on 6/22 against Los Angeles.
2017 WNBA Season (Dallas)
Started and played in all 34 games&#8230; Named WNBA Rookie of the month for May and June&#8230; Averaged 13.0 points per game, the third-highest for the Wings&#8230; Tied a career-high on 7/28 against Seattle in steals with three&#8230; Grabbed a career-high in rebounds twice with nine&#8230; Recorded a career-high in points with 21 against Connecticut on 8/12&#8230; Ranked first amongst rookie leaders in points scored per game&#8230; Ranked first among rookies in blocks, steals, assists, and minutes&#8230; Also finished the season in the top five in three other categories for all rookie leaders in the league&#8230; Named WNBA Rookie of the Year.
USA National Team

<li>Gray first was named to the USA National Team pool in March 2018. Since then, she has compiled an 25-3 record with USA teams, including nine training camps between five-on-five and 3&#215;3.</li>
<li>Won a gold medal representing USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the inaugural 3&#215;3 competition.</li>
<li>Named the 2021 USA Basketball 3&#215;3 Athlete of the Year.</li>
<li>Named Tournament MVP of the inaugural 3&#215;3 2021 Big Twelve International event in Voiron, France, where the USA women finished first with a 6-1 record.</li>
<li>Is 18-2 all-time while representing Team USA five-on-five and 3&#215;3 national teams, including exhibition games.</li>
<li>Competed in the USA National Team&#8217;s four-game NCAA tour in November 2019; aided the USA to a 3-1 slate and averaged 5.5 points per game.</li>
<li>Participated in the 2018 USA World Cup Team training camp and helped the USA to a 2-0 exhibition record; averaged 1.0 rebounds per game.</li>
