• After leading 26-22 through the first frame, Seattle blew the game open in the second, outscoring the Sky 28-15 to take a 54-37 lead into the locker room.

• Seattle, who came into the game leading the WNBA in three’s made per game at 8.3, connected on 10 or more three’s for the seventh time this season, finishing 11-for-27 today against the Sky.

• A day after being named to her WNBA-record 11th WNBA All-Star Game, Storm guard Sue Bird tied a season-high with 11 assists, which she has now achieved three times.

• Returning to her hometown Chicago, Storm guard Jewell Loyd posted her first double-double of 2018 and third of her career, with 20 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. She also dished out eight assists. All three of Loyd’s double-double performances have come vs. the Sky (7/17/16; 12 points, 10 assists and 9/2/16; 23 points, 10 rebounds).

• Jewell Loyd eclipsed the 20-point mark for the eighth time in 2018.

• Breanna Stewart, the WNBA’s top scorer who came into the day averaging 22.5 PPG, posted 30 points, her second-straight game breaking the 30-point plateau. She nailed a season-high-tying four three-pointers, going 4-for-6 from deep, and 10-for-16 from the field to finish with 30 points.

• Natasha Howard dished out a season-high two assists and finished with 11 points.

• Storm forward Alysha Clark connected on a season-high-tying three three-pointers (3-for-6), finishing with 14 points, her eighth game this season in double-figures.

• Crystal Langhorne scored nine points off the bench on 4-for-5 shooting, her second-best (12 vs. WAS on 7/8) point tally of the 2018 season.

• With 11 regular-season games to play, today’s effort marks the most 100-plus point games in a singleseason in Storm history (four). • Seattle improved to 15-2 with the starting lineup of Sue Bird, Jewell Loyd, Breanna Stewart, Alysha Clark and Natasha Howard.
