The WNBA is approaching its 20th season, which is sure to be marked by plenty of anniversary content and celebrations across the league. But the NBA is also celebrating a 20-year anniversary.

NBA.com is celebrating 20 years on the World Wide Web. For 20 years you’ve been able to type three letters — N, B, and A — followed by “.com” and get instant access to all of the latest updates from the National Basketball Association.

NBA.com published a photo gallery look at different iterations of the website through the years. And guess which league was front and center on the website 20 years ago.

You guessed it. The WNBA was featured on the NBA.com homepage, as news was breaking that the league would sign its first two players, Sheryl Swoopes and Rebecca Lobo.
