All Maya Moore Does Is Win

The Minnesota Lynx drafted Maya Moore seven years ago. The Minnesota Lynx have reached the WNBA Finals in six of the past seven years and won four titles over that span. Those two occurrences are no coincidence.

Moore has assumed the throne as one of women’s basketball’s ultimate winners, a case she began building not only at the University of Connecticut, but all the way back to her high school days in Georgia. Add up her record over the past 15 years, and Moore has won 497 of the 575 games she’s played stateside.*

(*Note: Moore has also played — and won — in parts of five pro seasons overseas and competed in international tournaments, including two Olympic Games.)
