<p class="x_MsoNormal" align="center"><b>WNBA AND INDIANAPOLIS HOST COMMITTEE TO DRIVE EXPANDED COMMUNITY IMPACT INCLUDING CHANGEMAKER DAY AT AT&amp;T WNBA ALL-STAR 2025 </b></p>
<p><strong>NEW YORK</strong>, July 9, 2025 — The WNBA and the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee are teaming up with key community partners to spark meaningful change across the city throughout AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star 2025 in Indianapolis. Over multiple days of social impact events and interactive workshops, the league and the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee will uplift and empower the next generation – helping community members and young leaders build essential skills in health, wellness, and leadership both on and off the court. Activities tip off on Thursday, July 17 and culminate on Saturday, July 19.</p>
<p><strong><u>WNBA Changemaker Day</u></strong><b><u></u></b></p>
<p>The WNBA and WNBA Changemaker partners – Ally, AT&amp;T, CarMax, Deloitte, Google, and Nike – alongside the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee, will team up with Voice in Sport (VIS) and the Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI) to host the league’s second annual WNBA Changemaker Day – a day dedicated to advancing, elevating, and economically empowering groups through the power of sport. WNBA Changemaker Partners have been working with VIS since February of 2024 to provide access to VIS’s virtual mentoring services to over 50,000 girls ages 13-23 across the US, leveraging WNBA players and other professional athletes as mentors.</p>
<p>This year’s programming will focus on period poverty and fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering community for young girls during this stage of development. Members of WNBA Changemakers and the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee will work alongside community volunteers to assemble 25,000 hygiene packs in a hands-on volunteer effort. The 25,000 prepared hygiene packs will stock the shelves of two local nonprofits: Indy Hygiene Hub and Project Period Indy. Following the period packing project, a dynamic panel – featuring BWHI’s <a title="" name="x__Hlk201052092"></a>Dr. Zsanai Epps, CEO of Voice in Sport Steph Strack, licensed health professional Dr. Morgan Smith, and Nike Chief Impact Officer Vanessa Garcia-Brito – <strong>will </strong>explore themes such as puberty, body image, and self-confidence, with a particular focus on the positive impact of sports in these areas of development. The event will conclude with a Jr. WNBA basketball clinic and conversation emphasizing the value of physical wellness and body positivity.</p>

<p><b><u>WNBA Cares State Farm Assist Tracker Legacy Project</u></b></p>
<p>The WNBA, the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee, and State Farm will support a lasting legacy initiative with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, focused on promoting mental and physical wellness among girls. The project includes the renovation of multiple wellness spaces at Camp Dellwood, a core site for youth programming and summer camps – continuing the WNBA and State Farm’s mission of using the power of basketball to create positive impact on communities.</p>
<p>This event is an extension of the WNBA Cares State Farm Assist Tracker, where the WNBA and State Farm donate for every assist recorded throughout the WNBA season – enhancing classroom experiences, community centers, and after-school programming across the country.</p>

<p><b><u>WNBA HBCU Event Intern Program Presented by Mielle</u></b></p>
<p>This year marks the launch of the WNBA HBCU Event Intern Program presented by Mielle, with plans to bring six HBCU students into the heart of All-Star Weekend. These students – including three Hampton University women’s basketball student-athletes – will serve as WNBA Event Interns throughout the week leading up to and throughout the AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star 2025. Interns have been selected from a pool of current junior, senior, or graduate HBCU students, as part of Mielle’s HBCU partnership and WNBA All-Star experience. Interns will gain behind-the-scenes access to AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star 2025 while participating in immersive programming that includes mentorship, professional development, and networking with WNBA leaders across departments.</p>
<p>Independently, the local WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee will have six WNBA All-Star HBCU Fever Fellows, including four students from the Midwest region. The selected female students will have access to various experiential opportunities, including career development, mentoring from Pacers Sports &amp; Entertainment (PS&amp;E) executives, networking with local HBCU alumnus, and other hands-on work experience. The week-long program will serve to elevate students’ understanding of career pathways in sports and cultivate future talent pipeline for PS&amp;E. Additionally, both cohorts from the WNBA HBCU Event Intern Program presented by Mielle and the WNBA All-Star HBCU Fever Fellows will have the opportunity to work collaboratively throughout the week.</p>
<p><strong><u>Jr. WNBA x AT&amp;T Clinic and Workshop</u></strong></p>
<p>The WNBA and AT&amp;T will host a Jr. WNBA event to inspire girls to play the game they love and dream big – on and off the court. The event will feature a basketball skills clinic, a vision board workshop, and a panel discussion focused on mental wellness and goal setting.</p>
<p>The Jr. WNBA is an initiative dedicated to championing girls and women through sport and providing them with a forum to connect and engage with the game of basketball and one another.</p>

<p><b><u>The Indy Playbook: From Passion to Profession</u></b></p>
<p>The Indy Playbook: From Passion to Profession is a half-day, career-building experience designed to introduce high school girls to career paths in sports through direct access to women leaders shaping the industry. Through interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and a front-row seat to a WISE/R Symposium Masterclass with WNBA team presidents, participants will gain career insights, build essential professional skills, and connect with a community of ambitious peers and mentors. The program aims to equip young women with tools, insights, and a supportive network as they explore professional roles in the sports world.</p>

<p><b><u>Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Leagues Clinic</u></b></p>
<p>The Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA will host a youth basketball clinic featuring skills and drills and shooting games for local Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Leagues participants ages 6-12. Beginning at 10:00 AM, anyone ages 18 and under can sign up on-site at WNBA Live to participate in a skills challenge led by Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA coaches.</p>

<p><b><u>GirlTREK &amp; WNBA All-Star Community Health Walk Presented by Evernorth Health Services</u></b></p>
<p>As part of the league’s commitment to holistic health and wellness, the WNBA will partner with GirlTREK to host the first-ever WNBA All-Star Community Health Walk presented by Evernorth Health Services. The 5k walk will bring together local community members, families, and All-Star guests to celebrate and raise awareness around physical, mental, and community health. The walk will also feature local health and wellness resources aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles for all ages.</p>
<p>Far more than a walking group, GirlTREK is the largest non-profit health organization for Black women in the United States, walking in the direction of healing, justice, and radical self-care.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><b><u>WNBA Line ‘Em Up</u></b></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Following a powerful debut in New York, the WNBA is excited to bring its latest nationwide initiative, Line ‘Em Up, to Indiana with a bold ‘Paint the Town’ takeover activation. Designed to bring the women’s professional game closer to communities, the activation features the official WNBA 3-point line painted on various public courts and fans’ driveways across the state. The campaign also includes chances to win WNBA merchandise and gift cards to the WNBA online store. On July 17, the league will host a “Ball Drop” at Wes Montgomery Park, where fans can score an official WNBA basketball and enjoy games, giveaways, and more.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><b><u>Sustainability</u></b></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">For the first time ever, AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star will feature a reusable cup program at Gainbridge Fieldhouse – in partnership with the local WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee – to eliminate single-use plastic cups in-arena. This initiative is part of the “Protect Where We Play Tour,” featuring WNBA All-Star Captain Napheesa Collier, a program designed to prevent more than 1 million single-use cups from entering waste streams in support of ocean conservation. In addition, for the second year in a row, AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star events – at both Gainbridge Fieldhouse and WNBA Live presented by Panini – will be powered by 100% renewable energy. Additional efforts led by the local host committee include expanding recycling infrastructure in downtown Indianapolis, increasing composting initiatives in-arena, and furthering circularity efforts and services across event operations to minimize waste. A beautification project in partnership with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful will take place the weekend before AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star to clean up 25 public basketball courts. Additionally, a team of 200 green volunteers will assist fans in ensuring that reusables, compost, recycling, and trash are properly sorted, and any excess materials are donated back to the community.</p>

WNBA and Indianapolis Host Committee to Drive Expanded Community Impact

<p style="font-weight: 400"><strong>NEW YORK, </strong>July 8, 2025 <strong>– </strong>The team rosters for the 2025 AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star Game, as selected by All-Star captains Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, were revealed today on ESPN during an hour-long edition of <em>WNBA Countdown presented by Google.</em></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Clark selected Fever teammate Aliyah Boston with the first overall pick. Collier then chose Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty with the second pick. See below for the complete pick-by-pick results.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">The 2025 AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star Game, featuring Team Clark vs. Team Collier, will be played on Saturday, July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, home of the Indiana Fever (8:30 p.m. ET on ABC, Disney+ and ESPN+).</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Starters for the 2025 AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star Game – as selected by fans, current WNBA players and media – were unveiled on June 30. Clark and Collier were named as team captains by virtue of being the two starters with the most fan votes. Clark finished with a record 1,293,526 fan votes; Collier received 1,176,020.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Clark and Collier drafted the 2025 AT&amp;T WNBA All-Star team rosters from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves, making picks without regard to a player’s conference affiliation or position. The draft began with Clark and Collier selecting from the eight remaining All-Star Game starters in the first round. The 12 reserves were then chosen in the second round.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">As the top finisher in fan voting, Clark was awarded the first pick in the first round (Starters). Collier made the first selection in the second round (Reserves). The captains alternated picks in each round until all players were selected.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Following the final selection, the captains made one trade, swapping head coaches. As a result, Cheryl Reeve and her Lynx staff will now guide Team Collier and Sandy Brondello and her New York Liberty staff will lead Team Clark.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Team Clark will wear gradient uniforms; Team Collier will wear black uniforms.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400"><strong>PHOENIX –</strong> The Phoenix Mercury today announced the signing and return of two-time WNBA Champion forward <strong>DeWanna Bonner</strong>. In a corresponding roster move, Mercury forward <strong>Murjanatu Musa</strong> has been waived.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">“We couldn’t be more excited to have DeWanna back in a Mercury uniform,” said Mercury General Manager Nick U’Ren. “She is a true winner, leader and one of the most talented and versatile players in our game. Her high basketball IQ, shooting range, athleticism and ability to play and defend multiple positions is going to be a great addition to what are we building here in Phoenix.”</p>
<p>Bonner makes her return to Phoenix after spending the first 10 years of her career with the Mercury (2009-16, 2018-19), where she helped bring two WNBA Championships to the Valley in 2009 and 2014. The 15-year veteran is a six-time WNBA All-Star (2015, 2018-19, 2021, 2023-24), two-time All-WNBA selection (2015, 2020), three-time Sixth Player of the Year (2009-11), All-Defensive Second Team selection (2015) and ranks third on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list.</p>
<p>Last season with the Connecticut Sun, the 6-4 wing averaged a team-high 15.0 points along with 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals. Bonner played the last five seasons (2020-24) in Connecticut, where she helped lead the Sun to a 2022 WNBA Finals appearance and five consecutive semifinals alongside Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas. She holds the Sun franchise records for most points in a game (41) and most points in a season (697 in 2023). Bonner appeared in nine games this season with the Indiana Fever, averaging 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">Originally selected fifth overall in the 2009 WNBA Draft by the Mercury, Bonner holds career averages of 14.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 511 games (402 starts). She is currently third in WNBA history in points (7,546), games played (511) and free throws made (1,880), fifth in minutes played (15,442), seventh in field goals made (2,517), ninth in three-point field goals made (632) and rebounds (3,101), and 12th in steals (614). Bonner joins Tamika Catchings as the only players in WNBA history to reach 7,000 points, 3,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists in their careers. She ranks second in Mercury history in games played, minutes played, steals and double-doubles and third in points, rebounds, assists and blocks.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">With the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game being played at a first-time host city, it makes sense that this year’s game also features some first-timers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Of the 22 players that will head to Indianapolis next weekend, five will be making their All-Star debut, including a trio of rookies to add some new flavor to the festivities.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">By comparison, last year’s All-Star had only two first-timers – and both were also rookies in Indy’s Caitlin Clark and Chicago’s Angel Reese – who will both be back at All-Star this year.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Following in their footsteps are three of the top four picks in this year’s draft – Dallas’ Paige Bueckers (No. 1 overall) as a starter, while Washington’s Sofia Citron (No. 3) and Kiki Iriafen (No. 4) are part of the reserve pool that was announced on Sunday.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">While the Lynx came up short in their quest to repeat as Commissioner&#8217;s Cup champions last week (note: that game does not count toward the regular season standings), they remain on a championship path.</span></p>

<h2><b>2. Phoenix Mercury (12-6) <span style="font-weight: 400">↔️</span></b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">In their only game of the past week, the Mercury lost to the Wings on Thursday despite Kahleah Copper’s season-high 33 points – dropping consecutive games for the first time all season.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Phoenix will look to avenge that loss – and avoid a three-game losing streak – when the Wings visit the Mercury (10 ET, League Pass). The Mercury rose up the standings and the power rankings during their six-game win streak that preceded these losses. Can they get back on track this week?</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">From May 27-June 1, the Storm dropped three straight games to fall to 3-4 on the season. Since then, they have gone 9-3 in their last 12 games, including wins over Atlanta (on a Skylar Diggins game-winner) and New York – two of the teams they leap in this week’s power rankings.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Storm are one of two teams – along with the host Fever – to have three All-Stars headed to Indianapolis next weekend. Nneka Ogwumike was named a starter last week, with Diggins and Gabby Williams named as reserves on Sunday. </span></p>

<h2><b>4. Atlanta Dream (11-7) ⬇️</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last Week: 3 </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This Week: Mon. vs. GSV, Fri. at IND, Sun. at NYL</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Thursday&#8217;s game between the Dream and Storm was a back-and-forth affair that saw neither team lead by more than seven points, nine ties and 25 lead changes. The Dream needed to keep it at 24 lead changes as Seattle’s Skylar Diggins hit the game-winning driving layup to send the Dream to their third loss in the last four games.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Atlanta is now 4-5 on the season in games against opponents .500 or better – tied with Dallas for the sixth-best win percentage in such games and the lowest mark of the five teams with double-digit wins on the season so far.</span></p>

<h2><b>5. New York Liberty (12-6) ⬇️</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This Week: Tue. vs. LVA, Sun. vs. ATL</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Liberty opened the week with a win over the Sparks behind a combined 43 points from the starting backcourt of Sabrina Ionescu and Natasha Cloud and a double-double (17 pts, 14 reb) from Breanna Stewart. The win helped NY avoid its first three-game losing streak since July 2022.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, the Liberty were unable to stack wins as they fell to the Storm on Sunday in a game that saw Stewart held to a season-low eight points – only the 11th career game in single digits. The Liberty will look to bounce back this week, beginning with a clash of the past two champions when NY hosts Las Vegas.</span></p>

<h2><b>6. Golden State Valkyries (9-8) ⬇️</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Despite their loss to the Lynx in their only game of the past week, the Valkyries have won seven of their last 10 games and earned a major win on Sunday – securing their first All-Star selection.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Kayla Thornton is one of five first-time All-Stars headed to Indianapolis next weekend and she’ll be the first to ever represent the Valkyries. The last expansion team to have an All-Star in its inaugural season was the Chicago Sky in 2006, when Candice Dupree was named as an injury replacement in the East.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Fever opened the week by winning the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup while becoming the only team to beat the Lynx in Minnesota all season. And they did it by 15 points. And they did it without Caitlin Clark, who has now missed the past five games with a groin injury.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Indiana followed the Cup championship with a dominant win over Las Vegas to snap a 16-game losing streak to the Aces. Defense was the key in both wins – holding the Lynx and Aces under 60 points in consecutive games.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, Indiana was unable to complete the perfect week as the Sparks rallied past the Fever down the stretch on Saturday, dropping Indiana to 3-7 in games featuring clutch time this season.</span></p>

<h2><b>8. Las Vegas Aces (9-9) ⬇️</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Las Vegas coach Becky Hammon did not mince her words when speaking to the media after the Aces’ 81-54 loss to the Fever on Thursday. The 27-point loss matched the Aces’ largest of the season and the 54 points marked the team&#8217;s lowest total since arriving in Vegas in 2018.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Three days after having their effort called out by their coach, the Aces responded with an 18-point win over the Sun in a game that saw Vegas shoot a season-best 54% to get the squad back to .500 through 18 games.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Aces will be tested this week with matchups against the defending champion Liberty, the Mystics and the Valkyries.</span></p>

<h2><b>9. Washington Mystics (8-10) ↔️</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Mystics were in the unenviable position of facing the Lynx in Minnesota’s first game after losing the Commissioner’s Cup championship. The Lynx raced past the Mystics in the middle two quarters – winning each 27-14 – to hand Washington the loss in its only game of the week.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, the Mystics got some positive news on Sunday, learning that rookies Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen were named as reserves for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. It marked only the second time in league history – and the first since 1999 – that rookie teammates were selected as All-Stars.</span></p>

<h2><b>10. Dallas Wings (6-13) ↔️</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Speaking of rookies, the Wings started four first-year players against the Mercury last Thursday and secured the win behind a combined 51 points from Aziaha James (28 pts, 6 reb, 6 ast) and Paige Bueckers (23 pts, 5 ast, 4 reb).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">It was the Wings’ fifth win in the last seven games as they continue to leave their 1-11 start to the season in the rearview mirror. This week, they’ll look to stay hot on a three-game road trip, beginning tonight with a rematch with the Mercury.</span></p>

<h2><b>11. Chicago Sky (5-12)</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last Week: 11 ↔️</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This Week: Tue. at WAS, Wed. vs. DAL, Sat. vs. MIN</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Seeking their first consecutive wins since the end of May, the Sky jumped out to a 14-point lead over the Lynx, winning the opening quarter 24-10. However, Minnesota answered with a 28-13 second quarter and outscored Chicago 70-51 the rest of the way.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Despite Rachel Banham’s season-high 20 points and six 3s, along with All-Star reserve Angel Reese’s 11th double-double (16 pts, 17 reb, 6 ast) of the season, the Sky lost for the fifth time in their last seven games.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This week, Chicago begins with a back-to-back against the Mystics and Wings before a rematch with the Lynx to close the week on Saturday.</span></p>

<h2><b>12. Los Angeles Sparks (6-13)</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This Week: Thur. vs MIN, Sun. vs. CON</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Sparks have won just two of their last eight games dating back to June 14 – both of which came on the road against the Indiana Fever. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">On Saturday, the Sparks got a combined 41 points from Azurá Stevens and All-Star reserve Kelsey Plum along with seven clutch time points from Rickea Jackson – including the go-ahead bucket with 54 seconds left.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, the Sparks don’t face the Fever again until Aug. 7, so they’ll need to find wins against other teams if they hope to climb the standings. It begins this week with games against the Lynx and Sun.</span></p>

<h2><b>13. Connecticut Sun (2-16) ↔️</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">With their loss to the Aces on Sunday, Connecticut extended its franchise-record losing streak to 10 straight games. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Aneesah Morrow (12), Tina Charles (11) and Saniya Rivers (10) combined for 33 points in the defeat, while Marina Mabrey missed her fifth straight game with a knee injury.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The schedule doesn’t let up for the 2-16 Sun as they have a home-and-home with 12-7 Seattle to open the week before visiting the Sparks in LA to close the week.</span></p>
