SEATTLE (AP) Shenise Johnson tied a career high with five 3-pointers and scored a season-high 18 points to lead six Indiana players in double figures as the Fever beat the Seattle Storm 93-82 on Sunday.
Tamika Catchings added 15 points, Lynetta Kizer and Devereaux Peters scored 12 apiece and Tiffany Mitchell and Erlana Larkins had 11 points each for Indiana (9-11).
Breanna Stewart’s layup late in the second quarter put the Storm up 10 points, but a four-point play by Johnson as the half expired sparked a 15-3 run that made it 55-53 with 5:16 left in the third and the Fever never again trailed.
Stewart converted a three-point play and then made a layup to pull Seattle (7-13) within eight with 3:42 to play, but Indiana’s Briann January hit a 3 to spark an 8-0 run that made it 91-75 with two minutes remaining.
The Fever, ranked eighth in the AP WNBA power poll, shot 70 percent (20 of 29) in the second half.
Stewart led the 10th-ranked Storm with 32 points and 11 rebounds.
