Washington Mystics star Elena Delle Donne left Tuesday night’s Semifinals Game 2 against the Dream with 3:04 remaining in the fourth quarter following an apparent leg injury. After a few minutes laying on the ground surrounded by teammates and trainers, Delle Donne got up and exited to the locker room with the assistance of two teammates.

Following the game, she provided an update on her status via team PR: “I mean, I’m walking. The swelling isn’t terrible. I’ll go home [Wednesday] and see our doctors, and see what they say. But I’m hopeful to be back in the lineup Friday.”

Washington ended up losing the game, 78-75, as the Atlanta Dream tied the best-of-5 series, 1-1.

Before the injury, Delle Donne once again shined, posting a game-high 27 points, 14 rebounds and six assists.

The series now shifts to D.C. for Game 3 on Friday, 8 PM ET on NBA TV and ESPNews.
