Delle Donne Tosses Out First Pitch At Chicago White Sox Game

Elena Delle Donne has had one of the more memorable seasons in WNBA history. She leads the league in scoring. She’s the favorite to bring home MVP honors. Her free throw percentages are otherworldly and are the highest mark any WNBA player has ever posted.

But on Tuesday night she was front and center on a different stage. Delle Donne took to the diamond at U.S. Cellular Field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox game.

Before the game, Delle Donne challenged White Sox second baseman Micah Johnson to a game of H.O.R.S.E.

Delle Donne also got the chance to hangout with White Sox outfielder Trayce Thompson – the brother of Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson.

After all of the buildup, Delle Donne took to the mound and delivered a pitch right down the center of the plate.
