It’s officially WNBA Draft Day 2015, which brings back fond memories for the Ogwumike family.
At this time two years ago, Nneka Ogwumike blazed the family trail when she was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Los Angeles Sparks, eventually earning 2012 Rookie of the Year honors. Last year, sister Chiney followed in her footsteps as the Connecticut Sun’s No. 1 overall pick and — you guessed it — eventual Rookie of the Year.
