The Los Angeles Sparks held on for a 69-63 victory over the Atlanta Dream behind 10 points and six rebounds from Candace Parker.
The Dream actually took the lead briefly with under two minutes to play in the midst of an outstanding fourth quarter comeback, though their rally eventually fell short. They outscored the Sparks 17-11 in the final frame, however.
Rookie Meighan Simmons led the Dream with 11 points off the bench, which tied Sparks' Essence Carson for the game-high.
This game concluded the WNBA preseason - the regular season will begin on Saturday, May 14.
