Redshirt junior can be eligible for draft as she is 22 years of age. First three-time All-Big Ten First Team honoree in MSU history. Excelled in just three seasons of action, having missed true frosh season of 2012-13 with torn left Achilles tendon suffered in practice (10/26/12). 2015-16: All-America Third Team (AP, espnW) and one of 15 finalists for Wooden Award as nat’l POY. Ranked 4th in Big Ten in both scoring, rebounding, avg’g a near double-double. Scored career-high 45 pts in 114-106 win over Minnesota in which the Gophers’ Rachel Banham tallied 52 on Feb. 22. 2014-15: First-Team All-Big Ten. Paced MSU in points and rebounds (2nd in Big Ten in both categories), as well as steals (5th in conf.) and blocks. 2013-14: First Spartan freshman to claim First-Team All-Big Ten honors. Started all 33 games and led team in points, boards and steals … MISC: Twice the state’s Class B Player of Year at Detroit Country Day, a school whose famous alums include Chris Webber, JaVale McGee, Steve Ballmer, Shane Battier, Patrick Kane, and Kate Markgraf). Before taking up basketball, the young Aerial first took part in boxing.
